Biography

Boban Dedovic is a Croatian-American psycholinguist, technologist, and podcast host. With a background in psychology, language, and computer science, he currently serves as the Chief Psycholinguistics Officer of LINGA Co. He was born in the former Yugoslavia and grew up in southern Maine before attending the University of Maryland for undergraduate work, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religions of the Ancient Near East and a Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology. After studying ancient languages like Sumerian, Homeric Greek, and Classical Latin, Boban attended the University of Chicago for his graduate studies, where he studied Old Babylonian (Akkadian) and Middle Egyptian. Aside from being a Division I wrestler for the Maryland Terrapins, his formal training includes both hard sciences and the humanities.
